My hygienist...was extremely friendly and very thorough. She talked through everything she was doing-- best cleaning I've had in a while. Dentist asked a lot of questions and though I didn't have any major issues I felt she was a good listener and would be happy to go back here if I had any dental issues. For the entire team (front desk, hygienist, doctor) to take the time to explain every little bit and confirm with me at every sign post if I had any questions went a long way. I appreciate their humility with which they approached their profession that enabled me to understand my health more. The best part was definitely the cleaning process, where my dental hygienist...was able to remove all the build-up on my teeth that had accumulated over a long period of time meanwhile minimizing the pain. She was so friendly and took the time to clearly explain the results of her examination...She was all-around skilled and professional and so kind. Had to make a same day emergency appointment due to shooting pains in my teeth. The dentist and the entire staff, from check in to x rays, were understanding, empathetic, and really made me feel that they wanted me to get better quickly. I'm very grateful for the excellent service and calming environment! All of the dental hygienists & dentists were genuinely good people & workers there at Tend Chelsea. They told me what’s covered by my insurance ahead of time & they let me know what was wrong with my teeth if there was anything wrong with them. The teeth cleaning was thorough & efficient. My hygienist really cared about my teeth and took the extra mile to properly clean it, take pictures, explain to them, answer my questions, and give me suggestions. I would usually be at the dentist for about 20-40 minutes at most, but I spent over an hour with her, and honestly, I think she did a 5-star job. Just got a new implant and crowns done on my front teeth and I couldn't be happier with the result. They look great! I feel fortunate to have had this team with me through the whole process. Horrific Experience at Tend Ballston – Avoid at All Costs I have endured months of pain, repeated failed treatments, and unprofessional care at Tend Ballston. They are not qualified for anything beyond a basic cleaning. Their care has left me with improperly shaved teeth, persistent pain, and no functioning crown, forcing me to seek a qualified outside dentist to repair their mistakes at significant additional cost. Temporary crowns repeatedly fell out, permanent crowns didn’t fit, and rushed, careless procedures caused further harm. They also skipped the Novocain multiple times "to speed things up". Another dentist has confirmed that Tend’s work was improperly executed, requiring the entire procedure to be redone. Despite asking multiple times for a refund or credit due to their substandard work, they continue to deny my request. Instead, all I’ve received is a dismissive one-sentence response offering “repair at no additional cost”—as if I would subject my mouth to more damage at their hands. Now I have to seek outside dental services to REPAIR the damage they cost-- and I'll have to pay out of pocket since they refuse to refund or credit. I will be seeking legal action to recuperate my funds. This is not a professional dental practice—it’s a scam operation run by people more interested in your money than your well-being. I strongly urge others to stay far away from Tend Dental.

Please don’t make the mistake of falling for the cute marketing and going to Tend Ballston. I have had repeated billing issues over the last year that are completely unresolved. Despite verifying my insurance multiple times ahead of my visit, and again when I checked in, I am now being asked to pay almost $1000 for routine dental care that I was told was covered by my insurance and *then* was told via email by customer support wasn’t a bill. This is really predatory.

Tend Studio Ballston was a great experience from the time I arrived until the time I left. All the staff were professional, kind and provided service with a smile;) They communicated well whether in-person, by email, or by text. The studio is nice, modern and clean. Their website was easy to use and I appreciate that this location offered an appointment at 6:10pm!

Best dental experience I have had. The place is cute and comfortable. I had an emergency dental appointment and after assessing what i needed done they were quick and transparent with my care plan and got me taken care of efficiently. Will be back for sure!

I HATE going to the dentist in general, but Tend makes the experience much less stressful. All of the hygienists are friendly and gentle and the doctors are quick and knowledgeable. I really enjoy being able to wear headphones and watch tv during my appointments. I’ve been there 4-5 times now and each experience has been great.
