I can finally write a review about Dr. Shenasi. I reported her to the Dental Board, and they reported her to the District Attorney's office. Dr. Shenasi had to pay thousands of dollars in penalty, and she was penalized in other areas. I am so surprised that they still have her practicing. Dr. Shenasi did work on my teeth that failed, and she had the nerve to blame me for it. The District Attorney's office did not fall for her lies. Dr. Shenasi caused me to have two root canals and to lose a tooth for the negligence work she performed. I'm warning you, do not let this lady work on you. She was in a different location at the time of the pain and suffering that she caused me, but she's still the same so-called dentist.

Dr. Shenasi was great! I took my three year old to her practice for his first dental appointment. The staff were all super friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Before she started cleaning his teeth, Dr. Shenasi explained her tools to my son and let him feel the cleaner brush on his hand before using it. I think my son actually enjoyed himself, or he at least liked wearing the sunglasses they gave him to protect his eyes from the light. Highly recommend!

Reviewing other reviews it seems that I'm not the only person to have had this experience with the provider. In short, they are operating some borderline predatory billing behavior. I had and emergency dental need and my primary doctor didn't have the ability to install my crown in time and referred me to this office. The dentist took EXTRA X-rays as opposed to taking the X-rays from my usual DDS and that resulted in them basically having me forced to pay out-of-pocket. I've heard of dental offices that try to upsell services to get more money, but never experienced this in person. There are better providers in the area. Avoid this one.

Fantastic experience. Dr. Shenasi and her staff are so kind. They really help with the anxiety around going to the dentist. The last dentist I visited in DuPont Circle, shamed me and made me less likely to go into a dentist. My colleague recommended Dr. Shenasi and I have followed her to the new practice. I am on a solid plan for better dental health thanks to Dr. Shenasi. The whole office is filled with kindness and amazing people; Brittany and Nina are kind, funny, and knowledgeable! I HAD TO TRACK HER DOWN! I met Dr. Shenasi at her previous office on K & 22nd St. NW. It's been a long time since I've found a dentist that was being honest about my treatment plan. I'm so comfortable and confident with her that I recommended her to a friend. Imagine my surprise when I found out she wasn't working at her previous office. Thank God for Google because I was able to track her down. History only repeated itself because I received the same care and attention to detail I received in the past. She's officially our family's dentist. -Thanks Dr. Shenasi and staff!
