Botox can be used to relieve jaw pain by relaxing the muscles causing the discomfort. This is done by injecting small amounts of the toxin into the muscles in question, which temporarily reduces their ability to contract. This can help to alleviate pain, improve range of motion in the jaw, and reduce the frequency of migraines and tension headaches caused by jaw tension. The absolute best dentist and dental office! Glad I came to get my teeth cleaned. I've been going to various dentists over the years and thought all were the same- now I know that is not the case, I've been missing out until now! The warm service, easy scheduling, attention to detail, professionalism combined with friendliness- Quincy Street Dental is the ideal dental experience. A place I won't mind going, thanks to Jennifer the hygienist and Dr. Borak. Side note- who knew a dental office could be stylish?! I've always dreaded going to the dentists office, but after going to Quincy I've found myself wondering when I can get in next for another cleaning. It is a clearly well run office with happy and super friendly staff and I've been overwhelmed by how well everything from a basic cleaning to whitening has turned out. 10/10, just book it. I had an excellent experience at this dental office! The hygienist's exceptional bedside manner made me feel at ease, and her informative approach by explaining each step was truly appreciated (I believe her name is Jennifer!). The receptionist was also super helpful and made sure I received all pertinent information both before and after my visit (thank you, Shannon!) Dr. Borak was incredibly personable, kind, and took her time during my visit. I'm genuinely looking forward to my next appointment – a fantastic team that makes dental care a positive experience. I enjoy my dental visits and it is because of professionals like Dr. Borak and her team at Quincy Dental. I was greeted by a welcoming smile by all! The team took time to get to know me, as it was my first time, which was awesome. My cleaning was exceptional and time was given to provide a summary of my cleaning. Dr. Borak was also able to provide a same day solution to an unresolved tooth issue from a previous practice. Thanks! Dr Borak and Jennifer were on point. Both addressed my dental concerns and explained the needed treatment with digital dental radiographs and live pictures of my teeth. I highly recommend Dr Borak and her team, great service and good attention to details, and best of all, they handled so well my dental anxiety. Thank you! I was referred to Quincy Street Dental by an existing patient who couldn’t stop raving about Dr. Borak after hearing me complain about my experience with Tend. Unlike Tend, where your dental care is managed by a revolving door of practitioners with little vested interest in your long term care, here you will get used to seeing the same dentist (and even the same hygienists!) every time you come. They monitor developing conditions, helping me spot the early formation of a cavity that other dentists missed. Dr. Borak is incredibly knowledgeable and has great “chair side” manner. She’s incredibly talented at distilling complicated dental conditions into easily digestible and understandable prognoses. She’s honest and upfront about what to expect, but does so in a way that reduces fear and anxiety. Everyone you will interact with here is incredibly friendly, patient, kind, and considerate — from the receptions, to the hygienists, to the doctor herself. Heck, even the billing department is a delight to work with when insurance companies are being, well, insurance companies. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and have even sent local family members to see Dr. Borak, who have in turn followed suit.

I've been going to Quincy Street Dental for a while now, and I can't recommend them enough! The entire staff is incredibly professional and always accommodating to my schedule. The office is conveniently located near the Ballston Metro Station, in Arlington, Va, which makes it super easy to get to. My dentist is fantastic. Tina was a great dental hygenist, very thorough and always takes the time to explain everything, making sure I'm comfortable throughout the entire visit. If you're looking for a reliable and friendly dental office, this is the place to go!

Great dentist, service, and vibes! The pre-appointment online form submission, routine reminders (text message) and easy / low stress check in was just the start. Tina (dental hygienist) was very thorough and gentle. Was able to talk to dentist about concerns and book follow-on appointment with ease. Definitely recommend!!

She also expends significant effort to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. In addition, the dental hygienist and assistants are topnotch and the work performed is of the highest quality.
