Pure Ishvari (Pure Ishvari)3 StarThis is my fourth maybe fifth visit to see Dr pollack . I love his work. He is quick confident and extremely proficient. However, I don’t see myself going back here again. Today I went in for an examination of a tooth. I had to get a $495 CT scan Which most insurances don’t cover. Then it was determined that my tooth was fractured and it was best to extracted. By the time I left the office, my total bill was $1590. To say that I was shocked is an understatement. I have had tooth extractions before and I’ve never paid that much. Although I was told the cost of the CT scan, I was not told the cost of the extraction. I had no choice but pay this money because the procedure was already done. Either you always double check the pricing before you approve any procedure or find somebody else. I’m going to find somebody else. I am extremely disappointed and shocked at this massive cost.Monday 3rd February 2025
Micah Allred1 StarHonestly unbelievably bad, tried to railroad me. I broke down and cried in the waiting room. Was charged almost $600 out of pocket for x-rays AFTER INSURANCE, after being told it was affordable, and after they refused my dentists X-rays that were taken months prior because "they need the right angles." The X-ray technician took a single angled X-ray and could not have cared less about how precise it was, just that it was in the right area. The other X-ray was the 360 degree one, not sure how that angle changes?Another $50 for him "tapping" on my gums. Was quoted $4000 out of pocket, after insurance, for 2 root canals, but was only given this quote after the X-rays they forced me to take. Was then told repeatedly to get the medical credit card they hawk so I can go into more medical debt for millionaire doctors. Very friendly staff, which is a shame because you can see they don't feel great about what's going on. After denying treatment and refusing to go into $4,600 of medical debt, I was told my tooth infection may get worse but that it's not a massive risk. As soon as I arrive home, still crying, I get a call - it's them saying they made a mistake,1 tooth was manageable but the other needs to be operated on right away, and they'd love to sign me up for their credit card! I risked my physical and financial health coming here, don't risk yours. It's too expensive, too disorganized, and too shady.
Update: Yes I arrived a day early and apologized profusely, even bringing macaroons and coffee for staff when I arrived the next day. I never even brought this up in my review, but you felt the need to and intentionally leave out the part where I tried to make it right, because at least I can admit when I've made a mistake. This office railroaded me, plunging me into debt because they refused to be upfront about my copay after constant requests to be transparent, but saying they wouldn't give me any estimates until after the xrays and exam, the cost of which was already enough to ruin me but only finding out after the fact. I had a human response to discovering my illness was far worse than I had thought and that the cost would be far higher than I had ever imagined. I queitly cryed to myself, told everybody thank you, and left knowing I may be hosptalized but had nothing within my financial control to stop it. That is not DRAMATIC, considering the circumstances. I was courteous to staff, until they called me AFTER I LEFT, saying they made a mistake by letting me go, now telling me know my illness was far worse than I had even been told at the office. You call that professional? Everybody who works at this office puts on a smile knowing they're absolutely screwing patients then hiding behind the law to justify their inhumanity, it's disgusting.Thursday 27th February 2025
OpenHouse Media Co5 StarDr. Pollock and his team are so professional and very timely. You could get a root canal done here faster than getting a cup of coffee at your local coffee shop!
The only downside to the Arlington location is the parking, but besides that small inconvenience, I highly recommend Greater Washington Endodontics!Monday 3rd February 2025

Barbara Bryant5 StarThe staff and doctor provided clear instructions on what I needed to do after the Root Canal. They also provided instructions on what the procedures were and the time it was needed to complete the procedure.
They were very professional and courteous in providing assistance and support to me.Thursday 16th January 2025
