Five star treatment from an amazing team. I arrived at the bright sunny offices and was greeted by the receptionist and a fridge full of mini water bottles. The building was clean and the equipment was state of the art. Everyone used gloves and changed them after transitioning from the x-ray room and after touching various surfaces. Dr. Moreau, the dentist kind and did the cleaning and examination herself. After the appointment, she identified areas of improvement and answered my questions. Eye Smile was a wonderful experience.

TLDR; This dentist destroyed my perfect smile and missed an infection due to lack of vetting of X-rays. I do not recommend her to my worst enemy. I had a profoundly disappointing experience with Dr. Yvonelle Moreau and cannot recommend her services. Despite following protocol and doing my due diligence by ordering a retainer weeks in advance, her office failed to place the order, resulting in a significant delay that allowed a gap to form between my front teeth. Dr. Moreau also missed an infection in the root of my tooth, as none of the X-rays her technicians took captured the root of my tooth. This oversight led to unnecessary expenses for additional X-rays from another dentist and ultimately required a root canal. A week after the initial X-ray, I presented with pain in the affected tooth, but Dr. Moreau dismissed my concerns as residual discomfort from a cleaning, despite my immunosuppressed status and history of cavities. Her attempt to justify this with outdated X-rays was particularly troubling. Other dental professionals I consulted were appalled at this oversight. Furthermore, Dr. Moreau recommended the removal of my bonded retainer, which subsequently caused a noticeable gap in my teeth. This appeared to be a tactic to push me towards a costly $5,000 Invisalign treatment offered by her practice. Dr. Moreau never apologized for these issues and instead deflected blame onto others. Her actions were unprofessional and seemed financially motivated, compromising my dental health in the process. I strongly advise seeking dental care elsewhere.

Outstanding eye exam. Dr. James was very thorough, personable and knowledgable. They took my insurance and the costs were exactly as stated - no surprises. Head and shoulders above previous experiences in the area. I cannot recommend them enough!

The Blue Print

I have been a patient at Eye Smile for almost 3 years now, sadly today marks my last day. The office is beautiful and for the most part, the staff is normally pleasant. Unfortunately one staff member, Ronald, falls short. Over the years, I have witnessed him repeatedly, speaking with patient and his fellow staff with a very arrogant/condescending attitude and tone. He has a way of making you feel as though your questions are foolish, when it should be his job to answer questions pertaining to the services being rendered in optometry. He also does not seem like a team player. This past Thursday I waited in the lobby for quite some time while the front desk staff were completely occupied checking patients in and out, answering phones, and running to the back for other things. He sat near the glasses station doing nothing. Glancing up from his phone from time to time. Never once offering any assistance or checking to see if there was anything he could do. Previously, I only witnessed these interactions, but his attitude shifted towards me, and I will not tolerate such behavior. Following my appointment I called the office because I had questions regarding my order and the service I received on that call was unacceptable. It is astonishing that he is still employed with this company. I was reluctant in posting then decided more people should speak up and disclose this type of behavior. It is bad for a business since he is a representation. I say all this to say if he ever left the practice, I would consider going back. But for now I am going to be looking for a new optometrist. For anyone thinking of going to this office, I would recommend avoiding Ronald at all cost. There are plenty of associates there who would be glad to help.

Dr. Moreau (Dentistry) and Dr. James (Optometry) are the absolute best! My daughter and I have been cared for by them since they opened their practice and we can’t recommend them enough. Not only are they experts in their respective fields, but they sincerely care about their patients. We are always excited for our appointments with them and couldn’t imagine a better place to receive superb dental and vision care. If we could give a 6-star rating, we absolutely would!
