My 6 and 2 year olds had a blast at District Pediatric Dentistry! Dr. Janet and her staff were so welcoming that they calmed down my daughter's dentist anxiety completely! She was so comfortable that she became a great helper when her little brother had his own struggles. Everyone was super patient with him, so we were able to get him into the chair for his check up. The practice is immaculate with lots of kid friendly stuffed animals, a tent for a little calm down space, and a cool prize machine. Dr. Janet also has great visual aids to help explain tooth friendly snacking and that back up our house snack rules. They are telling everyone at school and daycare about how cool their dentist is 😁🪥🦷! So excited to have found our dental home in DC.

My daughter (16 months old) had her first-ever dentist visit at District Pediatric Dentistry! We felt so comfortable with Dr. Janet and her team and she made the cleaning quick, easy, and informative. I know that my daughter will have positive association with future dentist appointments thanks to this first experience. The office is very clean and hip, with fun kid distractions, toys, and colors everywhere. This location is super convenient for us, especially with her pediatrician in the same building!

Dr. Janet is one of the kindest humans I have ever met. Her bubbly personality puts any anxious kid at ease, and she is highly knowledgeable and patient with all questions. And most importantly, my kids absolutely adore her! Highly recommend Dr. Janet if you’re looking for a pediatric dentist who will make dentistry feel magical for your little one. The office is also so kid friendly, and it feels so welcoming the moment you step in! 5 stars for a wonderful positive experience.

I don’t even know how to begin with how positive our experience has been with Dr. Janet and her office. We had our youngest assessed and ultimately went through with a tongue and lip tie release, a procedure I was very hesitant about. Dr. Janet spent literal HOURS with me over the course of multiple days talking through the procedure, the pros and cons, making sure that all of my concerns and questions were addressed. It is so clear that she actually cares about her patients and their families. In addition to the care shown by her and her team, I am also so happy with the outcome of my son’s procedure. We also brought my daughter for her first dental cleaning and they went above and beyond to try and make it an enjoyable experience for a wary toddler. I honestly have never had such a positive experience in a medical setting for either myself or my children and I cannot more highly recommend District Pediatric Dentistry!

District Pediatric Dentistry was absolutely the perfect spot to take my 18 month old for his first ever dentist appointment! They were perfectly set up for both older children and little toddlers with TVs, books, toys, and of course prizes to distract them. On top of the beautiful set up, the staff were so kind and clearly experts in tooth hygiene. They offered so many helpful tips and tricks to keep my little one's teeth clean. They had such an expert approach to caring for my terrified toddler, that although he entered the office nervous, he didn't want to leave by the end! Bonus points for making scheduling and insurance set up such a breeze, I literally set the appointment at 2am when I woke up realizing I had meant to look into booking his dentist visit earlier that day and forgot.
