Dr. Mir is my favorite dentist in the DMV. He is very personable, professional, and always takes the time to explain everything and answer my questions. He and his staff are diligent and gentle during care. His office is very clean, front staff very professional, and billing very transparent and never challenging. Def recommend!

I’d highly recommend this dentist, they’re well run, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and highly responsive. Got a routine exam and two appointments for fillings and have been satisfied by the service from Dr Faisal Mir and his support staff.

I was on the fence about ordering retainers because of how expensive they were. I ultimately decided to order them because I was assured by Dr. Mir and the receptionist that my insurance was going to cover 50% of the costs. Nearly three months after ordering them, they sent me an email with a bill and no other context saying that I owed $325. When I called them to see why I was being charged, they told me that retainers typically aren’t covered by insurance and that the claim was denied. Despite their mistake, 18th Street Dental wouldn't cover any portion of the additional cost. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t have warned me that there was even a chance that my insurance wasn’t going cover the claim. If they had, I wouldn’t have went through with it. Needless to say, I will never go back to 18th Street Dental again.
